Dead of Night: Hull Horror Film Festival

Dead of Night: Hull Horror Film Festival 2018

Prepare to be scared

Dead of Night, a four-night festival of new, classic and cult horror movies to frighten the pants off you this Halloween. Join us for chills, thrills and kills on the 25 - 28 October 2018 at Vue Cinema Hull.

From Sam Raimi's gore-splattered classic THE EVIL DEAD, to ANNA AND THE APOCALYPSE, a fresh and ground-breaking horror musical comedy, Dead of Night has all bases covered for fright fans in Hull.

Our Hull-exclusive new film screenings include the latest from the legendary Nicholas Cage; the mesmerising, delirious and deranged MANDY, the nightmarish UK psychological horror POSSUM, and closing the festival is audience favourite ONE CUT OF THE DEAD, a marvellously inventive Japanese horror-comedy featuring an epic, 37-minute opening continuous single take.

Complementing the new material in the festival are some iconic classics and restorations, with big screen showings of supernatural 70s shockers CARRIE and THE OMEN and Jeff Goldblum-starring creature-feature THE FLY.

Hold onto your popcorn, things are about to get terrifying!
